Our research and experience has shown us that individuals’ unique talent patterns are core components of their personalities and do not change significantly during their professional careers. Obviously, the time to identify these patterns is before the hire. Our talent-based selection process focuses on identifying an individual’s innate talent pattern and determining how well this pattern matches that required by the job. We have validated this approach in a broad variety of organizations with diverse cultures and job requirements. In every case, our talent-based methodology has proven to be extremely reliable in predicting candidates’ probability of success.

What makes TALinsight unique? It’s all about the talent!

Our unique approach combines the results of three highly regarded, web-based assessments to evaluate jobs and candidates for those jobs. These assessments include:

  • Workforce Motivator Profile (motivational style),

  • Hartman Value Profile (thinking style), and the

  • DISC Profile (behavioral style).

Together, these assessments yield a total of 22 talent dimensions. We analyze these 22 dimensions using highly developed, proprietary mathematical modeling. This precise analysis – unique to TALinsight – enables us to identify talent patterns that lead a high probability of a candidates success . This approach yields impressive and repeatable job fit results.

How do we identify talent patterns?

We identify an individual’s unique talent pattern through a proven process that is cost effective, easy to use and accurate. The results of our three assessments (which meet EEOC requirements) yield a wealth of critical information, including how individuals think and react to workplace situations, how they are best motivated, and how they respond to workplace pace and rules. This process, combined with a discovery of past success patterns, provides unsurpassed insight into an individual’s potential fit for a specific job.

We identify a position’s required talent pattern by using the same suite of assessments to profile a sample of incumbents in a given position. The results help define specific talent patterns that lead to job success. We then build a benchmark job model that defines a position’s required talent pattern and accurately predicts the potential success of candidates who are applying for the position. At each step of this process, we provide concise, easy-to-use reports, documentation and tracking.

How do we work with clients?

We strive to develop long-term partnerships. For our corporate clients, our systematic approach to managing and documenting employee talent builds an accurate database of employee talent profiles and benchmark job models. As we gather new data, we refine and update these models to improve their predictability and reliability. This on-going approach identifies improvement opportunities for both the selection of candidates and the daily performance of current employees.

For each career-planning client, we develop a customized Career Tool Kit. This valuable resource summarizes the results of his or her career-planning process, including talent patterns, success profiles and targeted positions. It also outlines a specific course of action, a tailored networking profile and includes an updated resume. As each career path evolves, we provide follow-up support and counsel.
